Most people can describe themselves in a handful of words. Or at least they can describe the handful of words that would most likely be linked to them. I find the whole thing rather tricky. I’m a final year physics student. I’m a writer. I’m an artist. I’m the sort of girl who leaves for a weekend away with a small bag and returns with 11 books. I like cooking, and eating, especially cake.
People often ask me how I fit it all in. I just throw in a few other things I do, sewing dresses, failing to crochet, scouting and smile. I’m a dabbler. I like doing lots.
I’m an ideas person. Forever a optamist.
I’m often asked do I regret doing physics as my degree. I feel this is a silly question. I love physics, I have no intention of ever doing anything super physicsy in the future, but at the moment I love it.
I love Ancient Egypt. Once a week for two hours in the evening I go to a class where my mind fills with images and stories of this amazing world.
I write science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, a diary, random notes, fairy tales and this blog. I draw anything, but mostly doodles of people and thoughts.
